I find the Kaikhosru piece interesting in light of it's being from nearly 100 years ago. Yet I am quite certain this was not a written piece. I think it was "spontaneously composed"--that is, an improvisation. Nothing wrong with that! I am releasing an album next month of spontaneously composed keyboard music in fact.

Kaikhosru Sorabji's piece is definitely the most exciting for me here. To me, it has the feel of a raga.
With the Holst, I'm finding it harder to hear. Which elements of the piece have the Indian influence?
